We love good fun, good food, and good company. So what better way to celebrate our marriage than by inviting our friends and family to join us for a weekend of fun at Kennolyn’s Stone Creek Village?
Nestled in the Santa Cruz mountains just minutes from the Hilltop Hacienda, this unique retreat combines the best of nature, recreation, and old-fashioned charm in a beautiful setting with more than 300 acres of hiking trails, athletic facilities, and two ropes courses. Even if you live nearby, we highly encourage you to spend the weekend with us at the Stone Creek Village. Children are welcome.
Weekend Itinerary
Saturday, May 26th
Guests may check in between 2-6pm. The afternoon is free time to enjoy the many recreational opportunities, which include tennis, ping pong, sand volleyball, and hiking. All overnight guests are invited to a cocktail hour at 5:30 and welcome dinner at 6:30pm outside the lodge followed by s’mores and songs around the campfire at 8:30pm. Feel free to bring your favorite musical instrument!
Sunday, May 27th
Coffee will be available from 7am. Continental breakfast is served between 8 and 9:30am and lunch from 12-1:30pm. Guests have free time all day until the ceremony at the nearby Hilltop Hacienda. Please arrive at the Hacienda at 3:30pm. A reception follows the ceremony, after which guests are invited to reconvene at the Stone Creek Village lodge to continue celebrating as late as they’d like.
Monday, May 28th
Have brunch with friends old and new at 9:30am. Enjoy a last round of tennis or take a relaxing morning hike. Checkout is at 1pm.
Accommodations
The Stone Creek Village accommodates about 120 guests, mainly in shared cabins. Most cabins contain two double beds (4 people); a few contain only one double bed (2 people) and some contain an additional twin bed (5 people). Each cabin costs $225 per night + tax regardless of number of beds (so shared cabins will cost less per person and cabins with only one bed more).
If you choose to stay with us at the Village, please indicate your party's lodging preference (shared vs. private) in your RSVP. We will be assigning cabins for each party by hand and this will help us to determine optimal assignments. Please also include your phone number as we will confirm lodging and retreat registration over the phone.
Food and Beverage
Kennolyn provides food and beverage during the weekend for an additional $60/guest ($30/child between 2-12 years; children under 2 free of charge) + tax. This fee covers breakfast and lunch on Sunday, brunch on Monday, and non-alcoholic beverages each day. A cocktail hour and welcome dinner on Saturday is complimentary for all guests staying at the Stone Creek Village Saturday night.
Recreation
The Stone Creek Village has a tennis court, swimming pool, three ping pong tables, a sand volleyball court, putting green, batting cage, playing field, horseshoe pit, game room and hiking trails on its 300 acre property. The venue provides equipment for its facilities but feel free to bring your favorite ball, racquet, bat, golf clubs, or board game!
Special Arrangements
Arriving late on Saturday or leaving early on Monday? Only able to stay Saturday or Sunday night at the Stone Creek Village? Please contact us for a la carte room and board arrangements if your travel plans do not allow you to take part in the entire weekend. Note that guests staying for the entire weekend will receive priority in lodging at the Stone Creek Village and daily food and beverage fees are fixed regardless of number of meals attended.
Restrictions
Please, no pets. The swimming pool may only be used during specified hours with a lifeguard on duty. Please do not smoke inside the buildings and limit loud noise outdoors to between 9am and 9pm. Kennolyn does not allow outside food or beverage, so please be discreet.
